To help fans and first-timers find nearby upcoming performances, the homepage includes a listing slide that automatically features content based on the visitor's location (using IP address). If there are no performances in the user's area, we imagine defaulting to a general listing of upcoming performances or featuring interactive content paired with a newsletter sign up form.
Additional Invitations to Engage
The page ends with two prominent calls to action, one to donate and the other to sign up for the newsletter. We see the invitation to sign up for the newsletter as a key part of Ailey's long-term engagement strategy, especially when it comes to sharing new content on the redesigned blog and keeping fans updated with performance information.
